Safari Highlights
On arrival at Entebbe international Airport, a representative of Bellavista Safaris will be eagerly waiting to receive you. Depending on the time of your arrival, the representative will drive you to Lodge Bellavista in Fort Portal or to your hotel in Entebbe.
You will be transferred to Lodge Bellavista. On the way you’ll see amazing landscapes of Uganda’s Country Side. In the afternoon reach Lodge Bellavista and have lunch. Then after head out for the Bigodi Wetland Guided Hike which will take 3 hours. Much of the trail is made up of wooden plank boardwalks.

Today we arise early morning and drive to Queen Elizabeth National park for a game drive. The animals in their different families, clans, and groups are out starting on their day.
The game drive happens in Kasenyi plains in the custom made safari cars for game viewing. Look out for Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Kobs, Water bucks etc all this in between the Rwenzori Mountains and the Rift valley escarpment.
Proceed to Ishasha sector in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth, famed for the tree-climbing lions, search for them with help of rangers. Lunch will be a picnic or at the lodge depending on what keeps you interested on the road. We will then drive back to Lodge Bellavista
We drive to Semuliki national park through the rift valley and Mt. Rwenzori. The park is home to 53 mammals, forest elephants, and buffaloes, Hippos and Crocodiles along the Semuliki River and several primates – Chimpanzee, red-cheeked mangabey, Central African red colobus and many reptiles and amphibians. 11 the mammals are endemic to the park, pygmy flying squirrel, Beecroft’s flying squirrel, water chevrotain, target rat, little collared fruit bat, bay duiker, forest buffalo, mona monkey.
We drive back to Lodge Bellavista
Today morning after an early breakfast, your driver guide will transfer you to the briefing place in Kibale forest. He will then hand in your details and permits for registration and allocation of chimpanzee community to trek. After attending the briefing and learning on how to behave while in the forest, they will divide you into different chimp trekking groups. The ranger guide will then lead you on the trek in search of this great ape. Watch the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, feed, play and rest. Once you locate them, you are only allowed one hour in their presence – sometimes they are resting and sometimes they are feeding in which case you follow them as they feed.
In the afternoon, your driver will transfer you to Lodge Bellavista through Fort Portal Town. To visit the Palace of Tooro Kingdom and The burial ground of the Kings, this is optional.
Today morning, you will start the journey to Entebbe/Kampala.
